The introduction "Never say these things"
When I was in the 9th grade, as I remember now, the teacher called me to the blackboard to solve the example. I don't have time to get to the boards, as she began to speak very destructive criticism with insults towards my sister. Do you think this is normal for a teacher? I don't think so either. But I couldn't say a word because I was shocked. It was more shocking what the person who works with children said this things. And there are lots of reasons, why she told this and in this way.

Wow, this is a really strong story, though a little bit too negative. I know it's for the sake of the topic sentence but anyway... Honestly, I didn't get the "sister" part. Was she in that class too?
ОтветитьУдалитьSo, I'd suggest that you softened the story a bit (by vocab and emotional apeal) in order not to make your audience feel as if you were complainning.
For instance, "I guess that day the teacher didn't really feel well or something happended to her beloved cat.. But she started complaining on me for not hurrying to solve that equation (уравнение). Honestly, I was so puzzled that I couldn't utter a word. Then that situation made me think why people were so rude sometimes?" In my reflections, I realized it is ignorance (or whatever you what to put here) that drives people to say things they'd better not to. " - topic sentence.
This is just an example, and it's abosuletly up to you ;)
Oh, thank you very much. I will pay attention to these things :)
